SOTI has released a new version of SOTI MobiControl 2026.1, which introduces a number of changes and improvements, not only for managing Android Enterprise mobile devices.
State Policies
The new State Policies allow you to evaluate a device’s status directly on the device and then use that information in:
Compliance Policies,
Signal Policies,
dashboards,
and device searches.
For example, you can monitor:
geofences,
loss of communication,
script result,
and custom criteria.
Expanded Signal Policies Capabilities
New features include:
aggregating alerts across a group of devices—allowing administrators to trigger a single alert once a defined number of devices in the group meet a defined condition,
responding only to recurring or long-term issues,
handling new situations, such as device renaming, exceeding the number of failed password attempts, etc.
Android Enterprise
MobiControl version 2026.1 also introduces:
delegated administrative permissions for apps installed via App Policies,
support for multiple CA certificates in a single Wi-Fi payload,
restrictions on app downloads based on connection type,
automatic reminders to change device passwords.
Other Improvements
a new centralized interface for script management,
Deployment Center - centralized management of all running and future tasks,
a new notification center,
the ability to stop a deployment while it is running,
bulk deletion of profiles and policies.
