Soti MobiControl version 2026

At the end of 2025, Soti launched MobiControl version 2026. It brings new features in the areas of AI assistance (Stella AI), management and lockdown options, device localization, and administration and use of the web console. It emphasizes intuitive control and better control over mobile infrastructure.
Here is a description of the most important new features and improvements.

SOTI Stella – AI Assistant

Stella, an AI assistant for quickly obtaining information, generating reports, and searching for answers in the system using simple natural language, has been integrated into SOTI MobiControl.

New Lockdown Features

• A new Lockdown profile creation wizard that makes it easy to configure the appearance and functions of kiosk mode step by step.
• Authenticated Lockdown – the ability to customize device behavior before and after user authentication.
• Conditional Lockdown – automatic activation of Lockdown when suspicious situations are detected (e.g., leaving a geofence area, loss of connection, low battery).

Moving localization from MobiControl to XSight

• Tracking and displaying the current GPS location of a device is now available via Live View in SOTI XSight v2026+ (no XSight license required).
• Support for device movement history with data visualization.
• Geofence can now be managed directly in Signal and Lockdown policies.

Simplified web console operation

• New main menu with modern, clear, and customizable controls.
• Dark mode for comfortable console use in darker environments.
• Improved administration and management

Approval workflow for critical profile edits.

• Automatic reapplication of profiles when installation fails.
• Suspension of deployment outside of scheduled time windows for better control of network load.
• Granular permissions – e.g., grant the right to assign profiles without the ability to edit them.

Improved reports and dashboards

• Profile indexing for faster and more accurate searches.
• New graphs and overview panel in the Devices Dashboard, overview of application versions across devices, and other data visualizations.

New options for managing devices with Android OS

• Extended support for managing devices with Android 15.
  • Wi-Fi settings management with prioritization and WPA3.
  • Running JavaScript scripts via Signal policies even when the device is offline.
  • Option to disable device pairing using NFC
• Simplified App Policy interface for quickly finding SOTI ONE and SOTI Snap applications and running scripts before and after application installation.
• More detailed Zebra LifeGuard update settings options, including minimum battery charge level and the option to delay installation.
