Soti XSight is an diagnostic intelligence system combined with a support solution and ticket based incident management system (formerly Soti Assist).
Mobile Device Diagnostics and Operational Intelligence
Operational Intelligence contains a range of powerful tools for analysing data from mobile devices.
Here's a short description:
- Battery Dashboards. Based on data on the number of charge and discharge cycles, temperature and other data, the Smart Battery Dashboard can predict when a battery will fail and proactively recommend battery replacement. This prevents mobile devices from becoming inoperable due to faulty batteries. Batteries that don't last a full work shift can also be detected. The feature is currently supported on Zebra's PowerPrecision and PowerPrecision+ batteries and on select Panasonic and Bluebird models. Additional device types will be added in the near future.
- Application usage analysis (App Dashboards). Displays the apps that use the most data, drain the most battery or consume the most storage. They can help identify which apps are important and which ones can be removed.
- Cellular Coverage Dashboards. Displays cellular signal strength heatmaps, which can be used to determine whether the mobile signal coverage is of sufficient quality.
- Creation of custom watchlists, which allow to alert the administrator about violations of defined conditions.
Incident Management Tools
- Integrated ticketing system allows to remotely document mobile device/user issues with screenshots, video and device snapshots that are saved with the ticket.
- Device remote control allows for screen visualization as well as full control of the device as if you were holding it in your hands.
- Draw on the remote device screen to illustrate solutions to the mobile device users and empower them to correct issues themselves.
- Record the device’s audio and video during a support session to accurately document what the issue is and how it impacts productivity. This information can be attached to tickets and shared with other agents to ensure context when addressing issues.
- Upload and download files and folders to troubleshoot or fix issues. Pull logs and files to gather device data.
Soti Xsight is an extension to the Soti MobiControl EMM. It can be run either on-premise or in the cloud. The user interface is available in one of the supported browsers.
