Zebra Technologies has launched the new ET401 tablet series, which builds on the proven ET40/ET45 series and offers significant improvements in performance, durability, and features for enterprise use.

Enhanced Performance and Efficiency

The ET401 is powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 processor, offering over 42% performance improvement and up to 80% better energy efficiency.

The device comes with up to 50% more RAM using LPDDR5 technology, delivering 1.5× higher speed and improved power consumption.

Connectivity is upgraded with Wi-Fi 7 (up to 2× faster than Wi-Fi 6) and Bluetooth 6.0 for enhanced stability and security.

Rugged Design and Extended Lifecycle

Designed for harsh environments, the ET401 features:

 IP68 sealing (up from IP65)

• Thermal shock resistance
• Product lifecycle: 4+4 years (4 years on the market, followed by 4 years of support and service)

Additionally, the tablet supports battery-free operation, making it suitable for fixed installations such as kiosks, vehicles, and workstations.

Built-in AI Capabilities

The ET401 introduces integrated AI features:

• AI-enabled touchscreen supporting operation in rain, with gloves or stylus
• AI audio for improved voice quality in noisy environments

The device enhances data capture capabilities with:

• Optional integrated short-range UHF RFID (up to 1.2 m range)
• Ultra-wide angle camera for vision-based applications
• New SR500 scan engine for reliable barcode scanning in all lighting conditions
