Motorola WT41N0 - a new wearable terminal

Motorola WT41N0In Q4/2012 Motorola Solutions will introduce the WT41N0 and RS419; the evolution to Motorola's current Wearable Mobile Computer and Ring Scanner product lines targeted for warehousing applications. The WT41N0 offers the most power of any device in its class, with a dual core processor and an operating system that can take advantage of both processors - Windows Embedded Compact 7, Microsoft’s latest mobile operating system. Combined with 2 GB Flash memory and support for 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LANs, the WT41N0 delivers the processing power and network throughput required to deliver consistent, lightning-fast application performance and reliability.
The small and lightweight RS419 Ring Scanner based on SE965 scan engine combines hands-free all-day comfort, the latest in laser scanning technology and a rugged design for everyday dependable operation, indoors and outdoors up to -30 °C. Motorola's patented Adaptive Scanning technology automatically toggles between a wide and narrow scan angle until a bar code is detected, so users can zoom in on bar codes as far as 15 ft/4.5 m and zoom out to capture bar codes at near contact. WT41N0 will be available in touch or non-touch display versions and as a Voice-Only Wearable for voice applications without the display. Wavelink Telnet Client will be pre-licensed and pre-installed on WT41N0.
